We'd love to tell you a little about where all this began.

We're Elizabeth and Anne. We're sisters, and this little jewellery boutique in Wellington was our mum's before it was ours.

Some of our earliest memories are of her shop. Sitting behind the counter after school. Watching her open a new box of pieces and go through them one by one.

Mum had a rule.

A piece had to be beautiful, of course. But it also had to be something you'd actually wear.

Not too precious for every day.
Not something that looked tired after a few weeks.
Not something that ended up forgotten in a drawer.

"If you won't wear it on a Tuesday," she'd say, "don't buy it."

When the boutique passed to us, we knew exactly what we wanted to do: carry on what she started.

So that's what we do.

We choose every piece together, one by one, the way she taught us.
